This instant Atta dosa or whole wheat dosa is a healthy and unique dosa recipe. A healthy version and interesting variant to the ever popular South Indian dosa recipe. It is very easy to prepare, it only contains wheat flour and salt that is diluted in water and then to ferment it we use Eno. Litti chokha is a traditional delicacy mainly eaten in Bihar. It is a dough ball made up of whole wheat flour and stuffed with roasted sattu or commonly known as chickpea flour, mixed with herbs and spices and then roasted over coal. Served with garlic chutney and chokha which is a potato filling, made with fresh herbs and spices. The cake is irresistibly delicious, one literally cannot judge if there is any sugar added. I agree, there is a lot of sugar in this cake in the form of dates and stevia. But that’s natural, and not refined white sugar. And you can easily decrease the amount. Stevia is optional to add, but I like the touch of bitterness it gives in this, that just spikes the sweetness 🙂
